Ter gelegenheid van de aanstaande troonswisseling heeft Jan van Nouhuys een 'Koningsbord' ontworpen. Met het 'appeltje van oranje' als verwijzing naar het huis van Oranje als kroon op een zilveren bord.
Het werk van Van Nouhuys onderscheidt zich in het gegeven dat het om unieke stukken gaat. Dit ontwerp leent zich er voor dat hij het in herhaling kan vervaardigen.
Dankzij een geoefende hand slaat hij met gemiddeld 10.000 hamerslagen per bord een prachtig blokkenmotief in het zilver, dat het effect vertoont van damast.
De afmeting is 31 x 31 cm. Het gewicht is ruim 1,3 kg.
Het 'Koningsbord' wordt genummerd en voorzien van het meesterteken, de waarborg-keuren, met een gekroonde jaarletter!
Indien op het 'Koningsbord' wordt ingetekend vóór 30 april 2013, zal het bord € 2.500,- bedragen.
