Museum De Koperen Knop is a small museum in Hardinxveld-Giessendam showing the country- and farmlife from the past in that area. However, the museum has one extra exhibition area and succeeds in organising lively, interesting exhibitions with contemporary art.

This time the theme is Het Boerenbeest (Farm Animals).  Painters, sculptors, silversmiths are taking part. Jan van Nouhuys has sent in a bowl of silver and brass depicting a cock. 

The exhibition runs from 17 September - 15 November 2009.
