The Dutch government, at that time host to the summit at Maastricht, commissions him to design and make its gift to the Prime Ministers and Ministers of Foreign Affairs of all the EU memberstates

Accepted as a participant at PAN Amsterdam, one of the very exquisite fairs for antiques and contemporary art in Europe

Artistic collaboration with glass-artist Winnie Teschmacher, industrial designer Mick van Ooy and painter Jef Huibers

execution of the Steltman jubilee exhibition which involved thirty silver artpieces, designed by Czeck-born architect and glass-artist Borek Sipek

Collections

Work by Van Nouhuys can be found in a number of collections of prominent national and international collectors ; the V & A Museum in London, the Nederlands Zilvermuseum Schoonhoven.
 

Commissioned work

•A golden waistband for a Moroccan bride of noble birth in the form of a cobra pavé-set with       diamond, emerald, ruby and sapphire.
•The chains of office (after own design) for the mayors of Binnenmaas and Grouw.
•The mace (after own design) of the University of Nijenrode (1991) and the Roosevelt Academy,  Middelburg (2006)
•Two fonts - one in the church in Ameide and one in Schoonhoven.
•The present (a table-bell / candlestick) after own design of the Dutch government to all prime- ministers and ministers of Foreign Affairs of the EU-memberstates at the time of the Summit at Maastricht (1991) as well as to H.M. Queen Beatrix
•Jubilee collection of Gallery Steltman Amsterdam : thirty objects designed by Szech-born architect and glass-artist Borek Sipek
