Work of Jan van Nouhuys has been shown at the World-Expo in Aichi, Japan, 25 March - 25 September 2005.

In the Dutch Pavillion, which attracted a lot of attention, the vase/object 'Een kubus verdraaid' (Twisted Cube) was exhibited.
